Rural Municipality of Wolverine No. 340 Request for Contracted Janitorial Services

The Rural Municipality of Wolverine No. 340 is inviting applications from qualified, reliable, and bondable independent contractors to provide janitorial services for the Municipal Office.

This is a one-day-per-week contract to maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment within the Municipal Office.

The successful contractor will be responsible for duties including, but not limited to:

• Cleaning offices, meeting rooms, washrooms, and common areas
• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping floors
• Dusting and sanitizing surfaces
• Emptying garbage and recycling receptacles
• Cleaning interior windows and glass as required
• Restocking washroom supplies
• Performing other routine janitorial duties as requested

Qualifications:

• Must be bondable
• Must provide proof of liability insurance
• Previous commercial janitorial experience is preferred
• Ability to work independently and maintain a high standard of cleanliness
• Must supply two professional references upon request.

Must comply with all applicable occupational health and safety requirements.

This position is offered as an independent contractor agreement, not an employment position. The successful applicant will be required to enter into a service contract with the Rural Municipality of Wolverine No. 340.
